Quince Monitor hatchlings

Reptile House is very excited about their latest additions, quince monitor hatchlings!
Quince monitors were discovered in the wild in Indonesia just a decade ago. Through careful animal work by our keepers and animal staff, a breeding area was secured, and 7 eggs hatched in December.

Pygmy Marmoset babies
Twin pygmy marmosets ride on their father's back on exhibit at the Congo Gorilla Forest. They were born in November, and look big in the photo, but the babies' heads are about the size of a fifty cent piece, fluff included.
